Grand Strand Medical Center Pediatrics Program

EXPERIENTIAL DESIGN

Grand Strand Medical Center Pediatric Program

Refreshed existing pediatrics identity with newly created graphics and branded experiences in response to acquisition of newly opened offices and evolution of hospital pediatrics program

01

Concepts

Concept presentations were conducted for leadership. The winning concept included an illustration reminiscent of the nearby shorelines of Myrtle Beach, SC.

02

Mockups

A second round of presentations unveiling the new design applied in an office setting centering around the parent and child experience, included an activity table, fun mirrors and an interactive light feature resembling the bubbles and colors seen in the ocean. Final recommendations were shared with leadership and a consensus was reached on an approved plan.

03

Application

After a few construction delays and a budget modification, design plans were consequently adjusted. Although the new design plan was a scaled back version of the original design, the new environment and experience received high praise from both patients and colleagues alike.
